Subtitled Scenics from Spain, the photographs in I don't speak Spanish don't show any particular destination or attraction. What we see instead, sandwiched between the covers (which show some glories of Madrid) are scenes seen and recorded as Fouhse made his way through industrial outskirts and out-of-season tourist towns. Scenic only in the sense of showing the land Fouhse walked through on his way to nowhere. Not a Spain of landmarks but of marked land.
